The Houston Independent School District (HISD) Gifted and Talented (G/T) Department is proud to announce its inaugural family symposium, “Opening the GATES to Gifted Learning.” The free virtual symposium is scheduled for August 3, 2021- August 6, 2021, via Microsoft Teams. The goal of the G/T Family Symposium is to address and support the needs of families with gifted scholars. The G/T Department’s greatest desire is to educate, empower, and inform parents of ways to best meet the unique needs of their gifted and talented scholar. Please register for the G/T Family Symposium. You will have access to 40 sessions with HISD and nationally-recognized experts. Registration closes July 30, 2021.
